Crab Trails - Restoran Tak Fok, Aman Puri Kepong

Whenever we have craving for crabs, we head to Restoran Tak Fok for fresh crabs which are cooked in various styles such as Salted Egg Crabs, Sweet & Sour Crabs, "Kung Poh" Crabs, Salted Baked Crabs, Buttered Crabs, Cheese Crabs, Marmite Crabs, "Kam Heong" Crabs, Blackpepper Crabs and a few more types.

The distance from SS2 to Restoran Tak Fok is just 15 minutes drive using LDP Highway.

For Starter, we had Braised Sharkfins with Crab Meat, costing RM9.00 per bowl. This is the economy version but tastes good and satisfying.

We tried the "Dong Po" Meat and wow, the texture was so rich and the meat melted in our mouths...just forget the fatty parts and cholesterol control for a moment...surely will order again on the next visit. Just cost RM20.00 per portion, enough to feed a table of 5 persons.

We also had the Brinjal cooked in Claypot mixed with minced pork and salted fish. A very satisfying and appetizing dish! Try it and you will believe......

Finally, the much awaited "Kam Heong" Crabs have arrived. See how big are the claws? Just RM20.00/kg for a decent serving. This also must try.....
